The explosion in breakaway at PRCA/WPRA rodeos and inclusion of breakaway in some capacity to all circuit finals for the first time in history in 2022 means that ropers purchased their cards in droves for their rookie breakaway season.
So, what does this mean for the ProRodeo circuit ranks? It means that the newest group of cowgirls are closing in on their circuit finals with rapid speed. Some of them are picking their ropes back up and dusting them off, some are crossing over from the amateur associations that have included them in recent years and some are just teenagers.
