Total Feeds 19 & Under Ladies Breakaway Average

Rylie Edens, the reigning Total Feeds 15 & Under Breakaway champion, pocketed $4,140 for first in the aggregate with a 7.89 on three calves and $1,040 for fourth with a 9.37 on three. Edens entered the roping twice, and after coming back high call in the Total Feeds Open Ladies Breakaway the morning before and breaking the barrier in the short round, Edens was looking for redemption.

“I went home, roped the dummy and was still mad,” said Edens of Hillsboro, Texas. “Then I came up here and I roped the dummy again, and I was like, we’re going to score today. I scored a little too far on the first two, so in the second round, I shortened my score because I was trying to get up higher. Then in a short round, my thoughts were just see him out, go rope and let the pins fall. I wanted to make something happen, but I also wasn’t going to force anything. I definitely said if I get the shot, I’m going to score this time.”
