The top five in the WPRA standings—Hali Williams, Rylee George, Taylor Munsell, Jaci Hammons and Jordi Edens-Mitchell—are heading into the summer run in as ideal a spot as they could for the 2026 season.

Between the list of five ladies, which includes four National Finals Breakaway Roping qualifiers and one Resistol Rookie contender, there is combined total earnings of $282,325 since the 2026 season began.

Here is a look at where they won and what they have to say before the summer chaos begins.

No. 1 — Hali Williams, Comanche, Texas — $79,276.92

No. 1 cowgirl in the world Hali Williams won a huge portion of her 2026 earnings at RodeoHouston in March, walking away the champion and pocketing just under $70,000 in Houston alone. From there, she added to her lead with a split Round 1 win at Rodeo Austin, good for $5,499, and another split win at Liberty Hill, Texas, for $3,985.

“I’ve got a lot of exciting things coming up in the next couple months. Having that one less stress of going in really, really low in the standings like I did last year in the summer, it gives you that, ‘Okay, I’m going to try to win the most amount of money I can. I think everybody every year wants to set earnings records in ways that are going to be hard to break again and that’s the goal for the year.”

No. 2 — Rylee George, Stephenville, Texas — $53,348.94

Defending NFBR Average champion Rylee George took full advantage of the Texas winter rodeos this season, cashing in at Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston. In Fort Worth, George took home $7,700 out her bracket, the Wild Card round and the semifinals. From there, she advanced out of Bracket 5 in San Antonio with $6,146 in earnings and won Semifinals No. 1, good for another $5,504 payday. Once at RodeoHouston, she took home $26,875 for third in the shootout round and her earnings from her bracket.

“Pressure is a privilege. Being in this position is something I’ve worked toward for a long time, and I’m grateful for every opportunity that comes with it. My goal this summer is to stay consistent and trust my preparation. My horses are working great, and I’m excited for a busy summer. There’s a lot of rodeo left, but I’m looking forward to competing and seeing what we can accomplish over the next few months.”

No. 3 — Taylor Munsell, Alva, Oklahoma — $53,323.48

Reigning world champion Taylor Munsell finds herself in a familiar spot on top of the standings after advancing out of her bracket or super series at Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston. Her biggest paycheck came out of RodeoHouston, where she flew under the radar to find herself in the shootout round where she ended up second for $30,000. From there, she won the first round at Logandale, Nevada, and the one-header in Clovis, New Mexico.

“I’m ready to get the summer run started. My goal is the same as always: put myself in a position to win and capitalize as much as I can. I have a great set of horses and great hauling partners. It’s hard to not be excited knowing it’s another year full of getting to do what I love. I’m feeling good and am thankful for this life.”

No. 4 — Jaci Hammons (R), Dublin, Texas — $51,477.77 | Resistol Rookie Leader

Current 2026 Resistol Rookie standings leader Jaci Hammons has had a standout season so far her first year on the ProRodeo trail. Her biggest check thus far came from San Antonio, where she was second out of Bracket 3 with $4,404 won to then move to the Semifinals 2—which she also won for another $4,403. Her run in the finals solidified her as the 2026 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo champion and put $16,512 in her pocket. She’s stayed consistent since, taking third in Round 1 at Austin for $5,499, and another $3,845 for her win in Vernon, Texas.

“Going into the summer, there’s lots of feelings but it’s mainly excitement. I haven’t rodeoed out of Texas so there’s some nerves there doing a lot of things for the first time and maybe not knowing what to expect but luckily I have some great friends and family to support me and help me along the way. I’ve never felt as confident in my roping as I have this year along with all the work I’ve put into my horse and myself—we’re ready to get to work now and have fun doing it. These next few months, I just want to enjoy everything and make the most of every calf I have.”

No. 5 — Jordi Edens-Mitchell, Gatesville, Texas — $47,898.14

NFBR cowgirl Jordi Edens-Mitchell kicked off her top five-earnings spot winning her bracket in Fort Worth with $3,560. From there, she went to San Antonio where she came out on top of her bracket with $4,954 won, won Semifinals No. 2 for $5,504, and ended up second behind Hammons for $11,008. After another go-round check at Austin, Edens-Mitchell took home the win at Mercedes, Texas, for $5,156, and had a big showing at Rodeo Corpus Christi good for combined earnings of $11,019.

“I’ve never been in this position before going into the summer with a little bit of cushion. There is so much money to be won in the summer that I don’t plan on backing off at all. My horses feel good and so do I, I’m just really looking forward to getting started!”
