Albuquerque, NM—Jan. 30, 2023 – BreakawayRoping.com continues to add top notch competitors to their line-up of world-class coaches, this time with the 2022 National Finals Breakaway Roping Aggregate Champion and ProRodeo circuit team roper Cadee Williams.

Williams is from Weatherford, Texas, but she grew up in a Montana roping family amongst pro-caliber brothers.

“I’ve been roping since I could walk; forever,” Williams said. “It was a huge advantage. [My brothers] were definitely tough on me—the good kind of tough that really stepped me up. They all roped well and expected that of me, too.”

In 2021, Williams was the first-ever breakaway roping champion at the Montana Circuit Finals. In 2023, she won enough money to also rank in the top 12 team ropers in the Montana Circuit—in the same year that she won the NFBR. The feat places Williams firmly amongst roping’s female elite.

In her series on BreakawayRoping.com, members can watch Williams pre-NFBR practice sessions as well as training videos covering topics like:

  1. Small Roping Tweaks with Big Results
  2. First Swing Secrets
  3. Building a Correctly Sized Loop
