The Top Gun Breakaway Roping is one of the largest breakaway finals in the country, and it took place Jan. 11–12 in Scone, New South Wales Australia.
With 10 rounds of breakaway roping, an all-girl team roping plus novice and youth divisions, there were opportunities for all levels of ropers.
The event aims to grow the sport of breakaway roping in Australia, where rodeo is popular, but the event aren’t as abundant as they are in the United States.
