The newest rodeo on the block has $30,000 in added money for breakaway ropers on one of the last weekend of the regular season.

The inaugural North Dakota Rough Rider’s Cup took place in Mandan Sept, 20–22 with $30,000 in added money for breakaway ropers.

The rodeo invited the top 32 breakaway ropers in the WPRA World Standings, as well as four Badlands Circuit ropers who qualified via four circuit rodeos.

The Mandan rodeo is a one-go format, and breakaway will pay eight holes compared to the normal ProRodeo 15.
