Shelby Boisjoli stunned the field and was crowned the ProRodeo Tour Finale Champion Breakaway Roper at the California Rodeo Salinas and moved to No. 1 in the ProRodeo world standings, but what was most interesting was the changes that rodeo made for the bubble.
Two-time Wrangler NFR Barrel Racing qualifier Taylor Hanchey moved up to 15th in the WPRA/PRCA World Standings with $24,567.15 in season earnings giving her a $138.16 lead on Three-time WPRA World Champion Hope Thompson who sits in the crying hole with one rodeo left in the season, being the Stockyards Pro Rodeo in Fort Worth, Texas, with a $500 payout, held Thursday, Sept. 30.
