The Women’s Rodeo World Championship has announced the top 20 breakaway ropers in both the Professional and Challenger divisions for the WRWC taking place May 14–20, 2023, and paying out more than $750,000.
Taking place in Fort Worth, Texas, for its fourth year running, the event will crown champions in the breakaway, team roping and barrel racing. In 2022, Hope Thompson of Abilene, Texas, earned the WRWC All around Championship.
Here are the 40 breakaway ladies invited to compete in the 2023 WRWC.

To be eligible to qualify for the Challenger Division, ropers must earn less than $6,000 per calendar year and cannot have earned more than $20,000 in their lifetime.
