What is the Triple Crown of Rodeo?

The Triple Crown of Rodeo, presented by Lazy E Ranch and Arena, is a series of annual major rodeo events which includes a bonus that will pay $1 million to any one athlete or collection of athletes who win first place in three consecutive WCRA Major Rodeos. WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo events are broadcast on CBS network television.

The 2024 season kick-off event will mark the first time the WCRA TCR series has stopped in Guthrie in over three years. The total event payout will be $400,000, with the payout per discipline as follows:

  • Roughstock Payout: $42,700 per discipline
  • Timed Event payout: $45,200 per discipline

How to compete at the Stampede At The E:

All steer wrestlers and roping disciplines will compete in two rounds of competition during the qualifying rounds, while barrel racers will have one round of competition with an optional buy-back round.
