What better way to celebrate the National Day of the Cowgirl and Women in Rodeo Month than by announcing that Kelsie Domer is back in the breakaway arena just five weeks after giving birth to her daughter, Oaklynn.

Domer is taking one last stab at securing back-to-back NFBR qualifications and battling it out on the bubble with her close friend, Jackie Crawford.

It’s going to be a showdown until September 30th, when the regular ProRodeo season ends, and Domer weighs in on mom life and her rodeo plans with Chelsea Shaffer, editor of The Team Roping Journal and The Breakaway Roping Journal.

This episode is brought to you by Durango Boots.

About Women in Rodeo Month

With the help of title sponsor Durango, the month of September will focus on legendary women who have made rodeo what it is today, as well as showcasing the current women in rodeo who continue to push the sports forward.

“Durango Boots is excited to partner with The Team Roping Journal, Barrel Racing Magazine and The Breakaway Roping Journal to celebrate the inaugural Women in Rodeo Month,” said Erin DeLong, Durango Boots marketing manager. “Spotlighting the strong, independent women in the western industry has been a focal point for the Durango brand so we’re proud to recognize our Team Durango athletes: Lisa Lockhart, Jordon Briggs, Stevi Hillman and Kelsie Domer along with other legendary women who have influenced the sport and continue to shape the future of rodeo.”

WPRA World Champion Kelsie Domer announces her return to ProRodeo on this special episode of The Breakaway Breakdown with Breakaway Roping Journal and Team Roping Journal editor, Chelsea Shaffer.
