Shofner broke out on the breakaway roping ProRodeo trail in 2020 with a win at her very first event. In 2021, the then New Mexico State Univeristy senior tied the arena record at the College National Finals Rodeo with a 1.6 second run. When she is not on the rodeo trail, Shofner is picking up her head rope to compete at World Series of Team Roping events, where she’s won numerous qualifiers. Finally, as a horse trainer, Shofner has trained several breakaway rope horses that have seen marked success, as well as her own horses.
