Chris Neal just announced the richest breakaway roping event in the history of the sport—the Kimes Ranch Million Dollar Breakaway Roping—will be in Scottsdale, Arizona, Nov. 27-30, 2024, and will pay out $1 million across a 10-round Open format.

In this episode of “The Breakdown” with host Lillian Kent, breakaway and tie-down producing heavyweight Chris Neal of CN Productions and Risings Stars fame sheds light on his idea to to create an event that matches the exceptional growth the sport of breakaway has been experiencing.
