Josie Conner Cashes in at 2025 Fort Worth Stock Stock & Rodeo: Full Breakaway Results

The 2025 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo took place Jan. 19–Feb. 3 with a tournament-style format featuring a Wild Card Round and more than $1 million in prize money.

In the end, Josie Conner came away with the 2025 Fort Worth Breakaway title, worth $20,000. Conner did it in dominant fashion, finishing No. 1 and No. 2 in her bracket. She won her Semifinals, and was first out in the Finals, where her 1.8-second time became an untouchable mark that earned her the championship.

7 brackets of competition:  begins Jan. 24

  • Two go-rounds for each bracket, and the top two money-earners from each bracket advance. (14 total)

Wild Card Round: Feb. 5

  • No. 3 in each bracket will advance to the Wild Card Round on Jan. 31. (Seven total)
  • The highest money earner from No. 4 – 8 in each bracket will also advance to the Wild Card. (One total)
  • TWO will advance from the Wild Card Round.

FWSSR Semi-Finals: Feb. 6 – 7

  • Round A – Eight breakaway ropers, top four money earners advance
  • Round B – Eight breakaway ropers, top four money earners advance

FWSSR Finals: Feb. 8

  • Eight breakaway ropers will battle for the tournament championship.
