The path to rodeo’s biggest stages starts in Glen Rose, Texas, this Memorial Day Weekend at Chris Neal’s Future Stars Breakaway & Tie-Down Roping, presented by Kimes Ranch and Outlaw Equine.
With $15,000 in added money, direct qualifications to top-tier events, and opportunities for all levels of ropers, this May 23–26 event at the Glen Rose Expo Center launches an exciting 2025 season for CN Productions.
Youth ropers in the 15U and 19U divisions will rope for $10,000 added each, 100% payback, and coveted positions at the Junior Rope For The Crown Championships in Las Vegas, held during the NFR. These divisions also serve as Junior Patriot Super Qualifiers and count toward the WCRA DY Series.

The Open Breakaway offers $2,500 added and triple-qualifier status for:
- The WRC Qualifier Series
- The $30,000 Rope For The Crown Open Finals
- The American Contender Series
A new WRWC Limited Division makes its debut, expanding access for developing talent to rise within the professional ranks.
In tie-down roping, youth and open competitors can qualify through the Junior Patriot Super Series, WCRA’s DY Series, and the American Contender Series, with $2,500 added to the Open division.
The Future Stars event sets the stage for a high-impact season. CN Productions’ 2025 schedule includes major stops like:
- Oklahoma’s Richest (Oct. 17–19)
- Rising Stars in Scottsdale, AZ (Nov. 27–30)
- Rope For The Crown Finals in Las Vegas (Dec. 5–6)
- Las Vegas Stars (Dec. 7–12)
- And the Junior Rope For The Crown Finals (Dec. 9–10)
Entries for Future Stars are open on NextGen until May 22 at 5 p.m. Late and walk-up entries will be accepted with applicable fees.
