The Kimes Ranch Million Dollar Breakaway’s revised schedule and event details have been released following postponement of the original event due to the EHV-1 outbreak in Texas and Oklahoma, further demonstrating Kimes’ commitment to not only providing a priemier event payout, but upmost safety for contestants, as well.

Originally slated for November 24–30 in Scottsdale, Arizona, the revised dates for the 2025 Kimes Ranch Million Dollar Breakaway are December 16–21.

Updated Entry Requirements for WestWorld/Million Dollar Breakaway

WestWorld has implemented updated health requirements for all horses entering the facility, including those traveling from within Arizona. 

Required for Entry at WestWorld of Scottsdale:

  • A 5-day Health Certificate for every horse
  • A Coggins dated within the past 12 months

Taking place Tuesday, Dec. 16, the Last Chance Qualifier has a total of 45 Semifinal spots available between the Last Chance Qualifier (40) and the buy-back round (5). Entries for the LCQ are on NextGen rodeo.

Onsite Late Entries Accepted with a $100 Late Fee. No entry limit.
