Martha Angelone and Hali Williams discussed their recent wins—totaling $300K—on the newest episode of The Breakaway Breakdown Podcast

Breakaway ropers Hali Williams and Martha Angelone discuss how they won $300K between them at the Kimes Million Dollar Breakaway, National Finals Breakaway Roping and on the Las Vegas jackpot scene including the Masters and All-In Breakaway Roping on The Breakaway Breakdown Podcast.

In this newest episode, brought to you by Purina, The Breakaway Breakdown host had a chance to catch up with Williams following her Kimes Million Dollar Breakaway High-Money finish and Angelone’s NFBR and Vegas Jackpot sweep. The ladies discuss rodeo strategy, where to rope in Las Vegas and how—more than ever—breakaway ropers can make a living with their rope.

“I came into the Kimes deal wanting to be the high-money earner,” Williams, 20, said. “I didn’t think I would go through the average to get it, though. I would have thought I’d won more rounds. I was a little trigger happy on two and broke the barrier, but now I get to go home with a good check and pay some bills.”
