The Labor Day weekend offers plenty of opportunities for ProRodeo breakaway ropers to add a few thousand to their bottom lines as rodeos including Ellensburg, Walla Walla Frontier Days and Magic Valley Stampede results roll in.

Ellenburg Rodeo

Ellensburg, Wash., Aug. 29-Sept. 1

Breakaway roping: First round: 1. TiAda Gray, 2.5 seconds, $3,455; 2. Crystal Mathwich, 2.6, $2,961; 3. (tie) Jessi Everett and McKenna Hickson, 2.7, $2,303 each; 5. (tie) Taylor Engesser, Josie Goodrich, Beth Hitchcock and Beau Peterson, 2.8, $1,152 each; 9. (tie) Danielle Lowman, Braylee Shepherd and Amanda Terrell, 2.9, $274 each. 

Second round leaders: 1. Erin Johnson, 2.3 seconds; 2. Hali Williams, 2.4; 3. (tie) Reagan Davis and Shalee King, 2.5 each; 5. (tie) Shayla Currin, Kelsie Domer, Taylor Raupe and Suzanne Williams, 2.6 each. 

Average leaders: 1. Reagan Davis, 8.6 seconds on two head; 2. Natalie Thompson, 9.6; 3. Kelsie Domer, 14.8; 4. Scotti Erickson, 16.4; 5. Jade Mitchell, 18.9; 6. Joslyn Arnold, 24.4.

Walla Walla Frontier Days

Walla Walla, Wash., Aug. 29-31

Breakaway roping: First round: 1. Josie Conner, 2.4 seconds, $2,040; 2. (tie) Bailey Bates, Grace Felton and Beau Peterson, 2.5, $1,508 each; 5. (tie) Taylor Munsell, Bailey Patterson, Hali Williams, Joey Williams and Macy Young, 2.6, $461 each.

Magic Valley Stampede

Filer, Idaho, Aug. 28-30

Breakaway roping leaders: 1. Haiden Thompson, 2.5 seconds; 2. Codi Anne Judkins, 2.9; no other qualified runs.

Dillon Jaycees PRCA Rodeo-Montana’s Biggest Weekend

Dillon, Mont., Aug. 30-31

Breakaway roping leaders: 1. Zoie Bedke, 2.9 seconds; 2. Celie Salmond, 3.0; 3. Kash Gay, 3.1; 4. (tie) Teka Larson and Charleyne Yeager, 3.3 each; 6. Kierra Hougen, 3.4.

Socorro County Fair & PRCA Rodeo

Socorro, N.M., Aug. 29

Breakaway roping leaders: 1. Nicole Baggarley, 2.5 seconds; 2. Leigh Ann Scribner, 2.8; 3. (tie) Macy Devenport, Kayce Edwards and McKenzie Frizzell, 2.9 each; 6. Mackie Saavedra, 3.2.
