Tonight’s the night for Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo, and the breakaway ropers have selected their horsepower for the team-based format, where competitors will rope simultaneously.

Five of the six teams were drafted for Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo, and the final team—the Free Riders—earned their positions via WCRA Rodeo Corpus Christi.

These are the teams, their coaches, athletes and horses selected for each.

Wait…what is Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo? Great question, you can learn all of that here.

Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo breakaway teams

Team Convoy

Coach: Cody Ohl

Meged is a returning team member from the Convoy team in 2024, while Auclair’s standout performance at the 2024 CFR made her a top pick for the Convoys.

Team Jokers

Coaches: Sid Steiner, Joe Beaver

  • Cheyanne McCartney, riding “Lexus”
  • Madison Outhier, riding “Rooster”

McCartney is a returning teammate for Beaver’s “Jokers,” while 2021 Resistol Rookie of the Year Madison Outhier is joining for the first time. In 2024, Outhier suffered a catastrophic injury when her horse slipped and went over backwards on her in Salt Lake City, Utah. Fortunately, Outhier has made a massive recovery to rope in the ProRodeo winter rodeos and now, Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo.

2025 standout ropers Domer and Conner headline Brazile’s team “Lowriders.” Domer became the 2024 WPRA Breakaway World Champion while Conner finished No. 3 with her Horse of the Year “Dutch.” Conner also clinched the 2025 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo title, lending her momentum throughout the winter rodeo season.

Misty Mountain Hop

Coach: Charmayne James

  • Danielle Lowman
  • Jordan Jo Hollabaugh, riding “Leonard”

James selected gunslinging veterans Lowman and Hollabaugh for her team Misty Mountain Hop. Lowman finished the 2024 WPRA season with another NFBR Qualification and more than $110,000 won while Hollabaugh garnered $95,235—plus some cash at the WCRA Stampede At The E.

Free Riders

Coaches: Bobby Mote, Linsay Sumpter

  • Kieley Walz, riding “Bella”
