The 2025 National Finals Breakaway Roping (NFBR) has officially been rescheduled and will now take place December 22–23, 2025, bringing the Top 15 breakaway ropers in the world together to compete for a $300,000 purse.

When Is the 2025 NFBR?
The NFBR will be held over two performances on Monday, Dec. 22, and Tuesday, Dec. 23, with all 10 go-rounds split evenly across the two nights.

Monday, December 22
- 6:00 p.m. — Doors open
- 7:00 p.m. — Performance (Rounds 1–5)
Tuesday, December 23
- 4:00 p.m. — Group photo
- 4:30–5:30 p.m. — Autograph session (in front of Cowtown Coliseum)
- 6:00 p.m. — Doors open
- 7:00 p.m. — Performance (Rounds 6–10)
NFBR Payout Breakdown
The total payout for the 2025 NFBR is $300,000, which includes guaranteed money for each qualifier and competition prize money paid out across go-rounds and the Average.
