Jill Tanner’s 2.0-second in the Finals at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo secured the 2026 breakaway roping title inside Dickies Arena.
Fort Worth’s tournament-style format allowed Tanner to chip away at the win. After advancing through Bracket 6 as a Wild Card qualifier, she capitalized on the high-pressure opportunity rope in the Semi-Finals.
Once there, her 2.3-second run was good enough to win Wild Card Night 2 and $4,000, and punched her ticket to the Finals.
On that last calf, she let it all hang out, and secured the 2026 FWSSR title in 2.0 seconds. good for $20,000.
