Amidst a sea of cowboys, Monday, July 24, 2023, will be the cowgirls’ day to play at The Daddy team roping and breakaway roping in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Laramie County Community College.

For the breakaway ropers:

The Ladies Only roping is holding an open breakaway and 19 & under breakaway

For the team ropers:

The event will hold a USTRC ladies open and a USTRC #10.5. The open will have a #9.5 incentive, while the #10.5 has an #8.5 incentive.

Fast Facts on The Daddy Ladies’ Roping:

  • The books open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023.
  • Roping starts at 8:30 a.m.
  • Ten buckles will be awarded throughout the competition.
  • There is 70% payback across the board.

The Ladies Only roping at The Daddy is a USTRC signature event, and the top three in each roping will receive discounted entries to the 2024 USTRC Finals in Fort Worth, Texas.
