As late summer descends, bulk of large ProRodeos are moving towards the Northwest, with Idaho, Montana and Washington events signaling it’s time for the final push ahead of the close of the ProRodeo regular season on Sept. 30.

There is plenty on the line, too, with the WPRA’s Playoff Series’ rodeos wrapping up this past weekend with the Caldwell Night Rodeo, Canby Rodeo, Moses Lake Round-Up Rodeo and Gooding Pro Rodeo. Entries for the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, Washington, on Aug. 23.

This means that breakaway ropers looking to qualify for the NFBR in December were all hungry to secure enough points to stay inside the top 23 cut line—spare Jenna Dallyn, who’s already locked in thanks to her NFR Open win— and had the opportunity to earn their position into the expected Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the final week of the ProRodeo regular season.

Elsewhere in the country, Resistol Rookie contender Cheree Caudle topped the Imboden PRCA Rodeo in Arkansas with a 4.3-second time, earning $1,128.
