The stage is set for the Women’s Rodeo World Championship finale in AT&T Stadium on Saturday, where $115K will be paid out in the breakaway roping.
Out of the seven ladies roping, three are from the Pro division, which determined by lifetime earnings. To make it here, these ladies roped their way through two go-rounds and a semifinal to punch their ticket to AT&T Stadium.
To do it, they either had to finish No. 1 or 2 in the average on three head, or post the fast time in the semifinals.
Take a look at the final three WRWC Pro breakaway ropers.
Josie Conner
Josie Conner made headlines all week in the WRWC Pro Breakaway, winning Round 1 with a 1.82-second time. She followed this up with a 2.98-second run in Round 2 and won the Semifinals with a 2.2-second time. So far, Conner has won $9,000 at the WRWC.
She’s heading into AT&T with some momentum, too. She won the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo earlier this year, and topped The American Rodeo at Globe Life Field in April—right across the street from AT&T.
Cheyanne McCartney
McCartney is heading to AT&T Stadium after tying Williams for the average win with a time of 7.9 seconds on three head. McCartney rode “Lexus” for all three runs in Cowtown Coliseum, posting times of 2.28, 3.1 and 2.52 seconds. She’s earned $3,250 at the 2025 WRWC thus far.
The 2023 NFBR Average Champion has had a steady year of ProRodeo, advancing to the short go at RodeoHouston and most recently winning the Spicer Gripp Memorial breakaway roping.
Cadee Williams
Williams and mare “Scandal” proved steady wins the race, and she has a 2022 NFBR Average Championship to prove it. With times of 3.05, 3.1 and 2.45 seconds, Williams matched McCartney for her AT&T qualification.
In 2024, Williams stuck around the Montana Circuit, taking advantage of the slew of rodeos while raising kiddos Honor and Wyatt.
