The inaugural Kid Rock Rock N Rodeo team selection is complete, and the coaches have picked their players in the breakaway roping for the inaugural team event that is taking place on May 17, in Arlington, Texas.

Five of the six teams were selected based on a draft. The final team—the WCRA Free Riders—was built using champions from Rodeo Corpus Christi.

These are the teams, their coaches and athletes selected for each.

Wait…what is Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo? Great question, you can learn all of that here.

Convoy

(Head Coach Cody Ohl and Assistant Coach Saylor Ohl)

After the draft, the Convoy and Sledge Hammers executed the first and only athlete trade for Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo. Convoy picked Shad Mayfield third overall and traded him to the Sledge Hammers for Riley Webb, the No. 15 overall selection.

Together, the team holds eight world titles, with Angelone being the only breakaway athlete selected in the first 37 picks.

Jokers

(Head Coach Sid Steiner and Assistant Coach Joe Beaver)

Head Coach Steiner led the Jokers to secure the No. 1 pick in the Kid Rock N Rodeo draft through strategic trades with Misty Mountain Hop. He drafted his son, Rocker Steiner, and later selected his daughter Steely. With three-time World Champion barrel racer Pozzi Tonozzi, the Jokers lead the teams with 117 NFR appearances and 18 aggregate wins, including reigning NFBR Average Champion Cheyenne McCartney.
