The 2024 NFBR horse lineup contains several surprises, with Jackie Crawford bringing out DS Sassy Shiner, or “T-Boy,” while 2023 Horse of the Year No Wimpy Turns, known as “Onna,” will be noticeably absent.

Crawford is cracking “T-Boy” back out after more than 2 years without making a competition run on the 19-year-old gelding. T-Boy is heralded as the horse that build Crawford’s career. She unofficially retired him due to lameness, but says the gelding is now sounder than he’s ever been.
Crawford also brought her red road gelding “Trojan” as a back up.
