Teenagers Hali Williams and Emilee Charlesworth are just two of the young guns who have been lighting up the breakaway roping scene in 2023.
Emilee Charlesworth banked $110,000 at the Roping Futurities of America in Abilene, Texas, back in February by sweeping both rounds and the aggregate in the slot roping on a four-year-old who had not previously been entered.
The 17-year-old has already made a name for herself from trick riding at the National Finals Rodeo to showing out in the reined cowhorse competions when she isn’t rodeoing, and she talks about how she keeps it all together.
After Charlesworth’s RFA talk, listeners hear from 2023 RodeoHouston champion and current WPRA world standings leader, Hali Williams. Williams discusses the $50,000 win, what it’s like growing up with some of the best in the business as mentors and more.
