ProRodeo breakaway standings are heating up heading into the summer run with a handful of ladies’ winning streaks seeing them rocket upwards thanks to check after check garnered at Texas’ smattering of ProRodeos in early June.

See who the biggest movers are following a weekend of fierce competition including Parker County Sheriffs Posse Frontier Days and Woodward Elks Rodeo June 6–9, 2024.

Josie Conner breaks into top 5

  • Current position: No. 9

This isn’t including Conner’s Window Rock, Arizona, win the weekend of May 31–June 2, where she earned $4,117. Window Rock added $10,000 for the breakaway ropers this year.

“Window Rock was a great rodeo,” Conner told BRJ following her win last week. “I had the second run on my calf but there was no video—but I told me was medium and ran straight. I just wanted to treat him like he was going to be good… and boy was he! Right off to the right, I nailed the barrier and Dutch did the rest.”
